What we collect
When you sign in, we receive the account details provided by Discord, such as your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address when Discord makes it available.
When you use Decibel Demon, we store the sounds, settings, server memberships, and usage information needed to provide the service.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, operate the soundboard and dashboard, deliver audio to your Discord server, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use uploaded audio to train a general-purpose AI model without your separate permission.
Audio and uploads
Audio you upload remains associated with the server or library destination you choose. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use, or sensitive personal information.
Public-library sounds may be visible to other Decibel Demon users. Server-private sounds are limited to the relevant server features and members.
Storage and retention
We retain account and service data while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data through the service support channel.
Some operational records may remain for a limited period when needed for security, fraud prevention, backups, or legal obligations.
Third parties
Decibel Demon relies on service providers for authentication, hosting, database, file storage, analytics when enabled, and Discord integration. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
Discord’s own privacy policy and terms also apply when you use Discord.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above shows when it was last revised. Questions or deletion requests can be sent through the Decibel Demon support channel.
